Buried was the third DLC map in Black Ops II Zombies, coming with the Vengeance DLC pack, and concluding the Green Run Group Maps, the Maxis Vs Richtofen Easter Egg Saga and also revealing the fates of Samuel Stuhlinger, Abigail 'Misty' Briarton, Marlton Johnson and Russman.
Introduced into this map were two new buildables, the Head Chopper and the Subsurface Resonator. As well as a new Friendly AI and a new enemy, the Giant and the Ghost.
It also marks the first time an LMG can be bought off the wall since Der Riese.
